We are currently seeking a Sous Chef for a new restaurant opening in Saudi Arabia. We are looking for a professional to be the second in command, following the specifications and guidelines of the Executive Chef. You will assist in delivering the highest quality food and service that is required on a day to day basis. You will be service inspired and volume savvy, have experience of working in a busy kitchen and understand the importance of meeting targets. You will have the ability to provide guidance to others, and be able to evidence good business acumen, excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic. Previous quality experience and the highest standards in terms of food production and service are a must. To apply for this role you should have at least three years experiences in quality establishments along with culinary experience in cooking Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine. You will also have working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS). A BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate would be a plus.
