A private household based in the UAE is currently looking to recruit an experienced and highly skilled Sous Chef to join their team. Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will assist in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen by coordinating food production schedules which ensures the highest level of food quality, taste and presentations are met. You will be producing fresh high quality Arabic (Emirati) cuisine for the household on a day to day basis and for parties and social events. You will assist in the development of new menus and food items, maintaining sensitivity to local cultural traditions and adhering to religious beliefs in preparation and services of all food on premises. Candidates must be reliable and enthusiastic with exceptional presentation and communication skills. You must be able to work independently in the absence of the Executive Chef. To apply for this role you will have 3-5 years experience as Sous Chef, preferably in a private household, with extensive experience in speciality Arabic cuisine.
