We are currently seeking a Chef for a Traditional Japanese restaurant, serving contemporary, authentic Japanese cuisine, within a 5 star luxury Hotel in Jordan. Reporting to the Executive Chef, the ideal candidate will be a top class Japanese Chef with extensive experience in renowned restaurant concepts. You must have the ability to create authentic Japanese cuisine at the highest level. The successful candidate will be required to develop and implement new menus, as well as training and developing the staff. Presentation and flavour balance will be of the highest levels and your communication and interpersonal skills will be second to none. You must be capable of working well under pressure in a fast paced environment. To be considered for this role you will have a wide knowledge of Japanese cuisine and will have a good understanding of the Japanese culture. This role may also suit a Sous Chef ready to take on their first Head Chef position. This is a single status contract. Only short-listed candidates will be responded to.
