This beautiful luxury hotel in the Maldives wishes to appoint an experienced Executive Sous Chef. You will be responsible for contributing to menu creation, managing the daily kitchen operation and managing a multi-cultural kitchen brigade to deliver an excellent guest and team member experience, while managing food cost controls. You will be reporting directly to the Executive Chef and will be responsible for producing cuisine of the highest standards. To apply for this role you should be holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management or Culinary School Degree or Diploma from an Accredited Culinary or Hotel School, have at least two years of experience as a Sous Chef in a large high volume upscale property with at least 5 outlets, plus banqueting facilities, within Asia or the Maldives and you must have strong and effective English language skills in writing, business presentations and interpersonal communication.
