5-star International Hotel in Cameroon is looking for an Executive Chef to join its team. You will be fully responsible for developing the reputation of the hotel through the production of excellent quality food and the development of a high-quality kitchen brigade. You will oversee the operational management of the kitchen and its team members, ensuring the consistent production of high-quality food through all hotel food outlets and you will develop positive customer relations through proactive interaction with guests, team members, contractors, and suppliers. Previous quality experience and the highest standards in terms of food production and service, with Restaurant, banqueting and outside catering exposure for high numbers, are required. To be considered for this role you should be holding an Executive Sous Chef or Executive chef role in a 5-star international property, and you should have excellent communication skills in French. Hardship countries or African countries’ experiences would be highly beneficial but it’s not a must. What is more important is that want to develop and work as part of a strong dynamic ExCom team.
