Job Description

An Executive Chef is required for a 5 star property in West Africa. Reporting to the Hotel General Manager, the ideal candidate will be a committed, hardworking chef with great drive and innovation who will oversee all kitchen operations of all outlets, including menu planning, cost and quality control, purchasing, supplies, budgeting and preparation. You will also be responsible for the kitchen and service team and the overall running and day to day activities of the F&B department. We are looking for a true leader of people, someone that can nurture, develop and grow the existing team. You must have the ability to communicate fluently in Portuguese or Spanish. Working experience in hardship, island or African locations will be a bonus. Corporate experience would be preferred. This is a single status contract. Only short-listed candidates will be replied to.
