An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and self-motivated Chef de Cuisine to assist in running the kitchen of well-established Fashionable contemporary restaurant in Germany, serving Asian-inspired dishes combined with creative tapas-style European cuisine. The ideal candidate will have the ability to meet all quality, hygiene and operating standards, have a motivational and enthusiastic character and have excellent technical culinary skills. You will be responsible for leading the daily operation of the kitchen, producing cuisine of the highest standards. You will be responsible for contributing to menu creation and managing and training the kitchen brigade to deliver an excellent guest and team member experience. You enjoy cooking, have a passion for good products and appreciate the creation of new fusion dishes in all areas (meat, fish, vegetarian and vegan). To be considered for this role you will have several years’ experience in a similar Japanese restaurant with experience with Robata Grill as Sous Chef or Head Chef with a sound knowledge of both contemporary and traditional Japanese cuisine, including Sushi work.
