5 star Hotel in Doha is currently seeking a Catering & Conference Services Manager. Under the general guidance of the Director of Catering & Conference Services, you will be responsible for the effective soliciting and handling of meetings, weddings and events business in line with Hotel budgets / targets. You will be responsible for managing a team of up to two direct reports in the prospecting and handling of accounts from within the local, regional and international markets and you will be expected to develop effective working relationships, internally with the Banqueting team to deliver exceptional experiences and externally with all related third parties. You will work closely with the sales team to ensure maximum revenue is driven during weekend periods and special occasions such as National Holidays, weddings and Festive periods. To apply for this role you will be holding a College Degree in Business, Hospitality or related field. You should have a minimum five years’ experience in Hotel catering and events sales, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel within the Middle East region, with at least 2 years experience in the Ladies wedding market segment.
